Dj Gwenn

Life has been good to me by putting tango on my path when I was least expecting anything exciting to happen. Few years later, I started DJing because I wanted to absorb the music to its fullest extent. To me, a milonga is first of all a social moment with good music: I have at heart to please those on the dance floor as much as those who chat, have a drink, or take a break (or don’t dance because the dance floor is too crowded). That’s why I put the same energy in building up and adapting my tandas on the spot as well as choosing joyful cortinas. My favourite things while DJing? First, looking at the pairs of dancers caring about the other couples to create a continuous collective flow and sharing a unique moment; second, seeing dancers adapting their energy and tango to the energy of the orchestras.
